Richmond Education Assistant Program (REAP) is rigorous, intense and rewarding. It is designed by the Richmond School District to prepare adults who have the passion to work with children and youth with diverse abilities and disabilities as an Education Assistant. 

Applications are now being accepted for Full Time REAP 2026 (deadline: Fri., March 20, 2026). Full Time REAP 2026 will start on July 6, 2026 and end on November 27, 2026. Classes are held Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the Adult Education Centre (12091 Cambie Road, Richmond).

Part Time REAP begins in January each year and takes 13 months to complete.  Part Time REAP classes are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6 pm to 9 pm, remotely via Zoom and in person all day Saturdays, 9 am to 3:30 pm, at the Adult Education Centre.  Applications for the next Part Time REAP will be accepted in the Fall of 2026.
